Stargaze

For years, Stargaze has created cross-over projects with various pop musicians and is among the most interesting contemporary classical orchestras. Most recently, the ensemble wowed audiences with a Beethoven project together with British producer Matthew Herbert. On the festival’s closing evening, Stargaze presents a tribute to the renowned electronica label Warp Records – with interpretations of music by acts such as Boards of Canada or Aphex Twin. Stargaze has translated the electronic sounds into an acoustic version for 12 classical musicians and sheds a new light on the legendary tracks. (zts)
